Article processing charge (APC)
Hyrcanian Journal of Clinical Medicine is an open-access, electronic-only journal. All articles published by the journal are freely available online immediately upon publication, allowing readers to access the published content without subscription or access fees.
To support the editorial, production, publishing, and online hosting services required for maintaining the journal, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied to accepted articles.
The APC is charged to the corresponding author after final editorial acceptance and before publication. There are no submission fees or additional charges for the use of color figures.
The APC supports a range of publishing services, including manuscript processing, editorial and production services, online hosting and maintenance, plagiarism and similarity screening, DOI registration, and publication of the final article.
Payment of an APC has no influence on the editorial decision or peer-review process. All manuscripts are evaluated independently based on their scientific quality, originality, methodological rigor, ethical standards, and suitability for the journal.
Waivers and Discounts
Hyrcanian Journal of Clinical Medicine recognizes that authors may experience financial difficulties in covering publication charges. Therefore, requests for full or partial waivers or discounts may be considered in cases of genuine financial need.
Authors who are unable to pay the APC may contact the editorial office at support@hjcmed.com and explain their circumstances.
Waiver or discount requests should be submitted after editorial acceptance and before payment. Each request will be considered individually and independently of the editorial and peer-review process.

After completing the payment, the corresponding author should notify the editorial office by sending an email to:

- Article title
- Corresponding author's name
- Payment confirmation and relevant payment information
The editorial office will confirm receipt of the payment and proceed with the publication process.
